Evonik on Target after the First Half of 2017

Sales grew 15% to €7.3 billion, while adjusted EBITDA rose 8% to €1.25 billion.

Evonik grew sales to €7.3 billion in the first six months of 2017. The rise of 15% compared with the first half of 2016 was partly due to the first-time consolidation of the specialty additives business of the US company Air Products. Evonik acquired this business in January.
